I know fall has arrived, but spring just hit the runway. New York Fashion Week just ended and all the trends for Spring 2016 are out. Many of the trends for fall are being revamped for a lighter spring look, but there are a ton of new looks to start planning for. Check out my list below of new trends that ripped the runway last week at New York Fashion Week.
This might be my favorite trend from the week. Vertical stripes make you look taller and skinner, is there any other reason to not love this?! LOL
The Baggy Pajama Look
The oversized trouser look has been inching its way on the scene for a while. But, now we are going for oversized pant suits and in silk! This look is definitely for a risk taker, but slouchy black trousers with a simple blouse can be a safer approach to rock this NYFW trend.
Fringe was big last fall, and has moved over to spring. The fringe look can be a bit overwhleming if over done, but I am loving the subtle fringe at the hem of a skirt or shirt.
Off The Shoulder
Bare shoulders were a reoccurring theme throughout the week. I love how this look elongates your neck and just makes you look regal. I can’t wait to shop for some off the shoulder dresses this season and let my shoulder’s loose!
You can’t have fringe without crochet! Crochet bathing suits, dresses, blouses, and even pants. Crochet anything works this spring.
Multi Print Outfits
This spring block printing is huge, which compliments the hippie chic theme that is dominating the runway. Block printing is more than one intricate print in one piece of clothing. I don’t think I will be rocking this trend, its just not my style. But, if you love that fun eccentric look will love all of the new dresses coming out in spring; ESPECIALLY Diane Von Furstenburg’s collection.
It seems like orange will be the color of the year. Orange accents were all over the runway last week, and I like it. Orange is a color that can be worn every season, and goes well with fair and dark skin tones.
Ruffled hems, ruffled sleeves, ruffles, ruffles, and more ruffles. Just like fringe, I like this in moderation. Too much ruffle can make you look like a loofah, and no one wants to look like a loofah. I am obsessed with this dress by Jason Wu, its the perfect combination of ruffle and the leather adds some masculinity to the look. LOVE IT! Someone buy me this dress please!

Love you mean it <3
